Express Entry accelerates your path to Canadian permanent residency. The Express Entry system streamlines the immigration process for skilled workers who wish to live and work in Canada. Eligibility for Express for Entry Program

To qualify for Canadian Permanent Residency (PR) through the Express Entry system, you must meet the eligibility criteria of one of its three economic immigration programs. A crucial factor is achieving a minimum score of 67 points out of 100 on the grid, based on the following factors:

  • Age: Younger applicants are generally awarded more points.
  • Education: Higher levels of education are highly valued and translate to more points. A minimum of secondary education is required.
  • Work Experience: Relevant work experience is significantly rewarded, with greater experience leading to higher scores.
  • Language Proficiency: Demonstrated proficiency in English or French is essential, typically assessed through tests like IELTS or TEF. Higher language scores result in more points.
  • Adaptability: Factors such as having family members in Canada or a valid job offer can significantly boost your score.
